HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY MISS!
I'm sitting in the woodstock school, and though it is not the 14th yet, I'm sure I won't have internets at the time, So i'm writing this with my hands stinging in the cold (the entire school is un-heated) and hail pelting the window. Anyway, as you know, stanley is accompanying me on this trip- but what you don't know is where we've been. Though I do
n't have pictures of the last two big hikes (one through a jungle and one on the safari) stanley has become a regular figure around me. The ladies love him and think it's adorable that I carry him around - you come up in conversations alot on hikes as he hangs out on my backpack. So I've created this blog as a little place to post pictures of stanley and I as we travel around the world, a little gift just for you (so I won't fade 
so fast).I'll post little thoughts here for you when letters are hard to send, and pictures i think you'd find nice or funny. So keep checking here every once and a while and you might have a nice surprise- be it a song, lyrics, poems, e-sticky notes, or just a picture of the amazing world we both live in. I'm having so much fun here despite missing some fairly basic things like hugs, your smile, certain western foods, and water that isn't poison. Bises,

Woah! I love the first photo! where was that? also in hawaii? What a crazy hike of different terrain! also- amazing leprechaun jump, i still aspire to just such a happy heel-click. maybe i could ride on your back like stanley for a similar effect...

ReplyDeletethe first picture is from my favorite place so-far: Alaska. The Juneau weather was really tame compared to what I was expecting...but I guess it's a good thing that I packed heavily as its supposed to be about -40 in spitzbergen.
I'll be wishing for you then harder then ever...brr.
